League Of Super Evil now on YTV and Cartoon Network

Friday, March 13th, 2009

pose4-flat2Parnell’s Peter Ricq has been working on his own animated TV show during the last four years in Vancouver. He’s co-created the show with Philippe Ivanusic and Davila LeBlanc who  co-wrote half the series together while P. Ricq was art directing and designing most of L.O.S.E.

This is a comedic show for kids 8 to 12 that appears to be quite  promising. You can view trailers for upcoming episodes, webisodes and play a really addictive flash game on www.leagueofsuperevil.com.

MTAF & Fred Casia (Momunit), will be taking part in a collaborative month-long event with a slew of talented Montreal artists. Check out the crappening’s below and come support!

“EN MASSE” @ Galerie Pangee, co-curated by Tim Barnard and Jason Botkin, is an explosive encounter between the worlds of fine art, comix, and graffiti on a massive scale. This month-long event, running from February 1st to March 1st, will climax with an all-night party for Montreal’s Nuit Blanche on Saturday, February 28th, 2009.

Twenty-eght Montreal artists, chosen for their cutting-edge graphic styles, have been invited to invade the space of Pangee for an entire month of production, working to cover the walls in a collaborative ecstasy of mark making.

The exhibition opened on February 3rd as a blank canvas, with the walls covered in white paper from floor to ceiling.

The artists will cover this blank canvas during the month of February on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10am to 6pm. We invite you to come often, as this massive, once in a lifetime event project expands on a daily basis!

You are invited to the closing party on Saturday, February 28th from 6pm to 4am which is sponsored by the Nuit Blanche, Red Bull, Alternative, 33mag, and St. Ambroise.
